No-Court Article 102 Divorce
- Petition for Divorce can be filed immediately, without the parties living separate and apart. The Final Judgment of Divorce may be obtained once the parties have been separated for 180 days without minor children or 365 days with minor children.

Is a No-Court Divorce right for me?
1. You need a divorce only OR You need a divorce and orders on custody, child support, spousal support, and/or partition of community property.
2. If you need additional court orders, you and your spouse have come to or will come to agreements on all of the issues to be covered in the court orders.
3. Your spouse will not file an objection to the divorce or set issues such as custody, child support, spousal support, and/or partition of community property for hearing.
How much does an No-Court Divorce Cost?
How long does a No-Court Divorce take to obtain?
In general, a No-Court Article 103(1) Divorce in Louisiana can be completed within two to three months. It is possible to complete your divorce within two weeks with our express divorce option (additional fees may apply). This duration depends on many factors. Some factors include your spouse’s willingness to sign a waiver of service and the time it takes the court to process your cases. Due to factors outside of its control, Rotharmel Shanks, LLC cannot guarantee any time in which the divorce will be completed.
